RCI-2995DXCF keying issues

3 months old. Clicking noise and Drops key when transmitting at times. Also at times will not key up at all at first attempt. Red trx light does come on display though. Tried different mic. Tried unhooking everything and hooked antenna directly to radio same issues. Never happens with other radios I have. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks. Dave

If it is 3 months old as in bought brand new just take back to retailer for a replacement. Don't even bother fixing it.

I tried. They said it had to go to Ranger in CA for warranty repair.

Chris is a good tech, I suggest you go ahead and get a RMA and send it to him, he will make it right.
If someone else buggers it up you will lose the warranty you have now.

That is odd, you said the one you sent me had been repaired once. Maybe you had 3, and I should have said "mine" not "yours"?
