Guys anyone ever seen something like this before? Radio has been working great for months then this started? Radio powers on and receives great but when I key the microphone the display and lights all blink and beep?

Yup. It's a Ranger product.
Seriously though, it sounds like it could be a power issue of some kind that is causing the radios CPU (or at least the front panel controller) to reset when you key up. Check you have enough voltage/amperage getting to the radio. Is there a big voltage drop when you key up ?

Odds are the amplifier has failed. Clearly you have a post-2007 model with the switchmode power supply. It has overload protection, and it sounds as if it is shutting down for that reason.

There is a tiny 2-pin plug just to the front of the radio from the driver transistor. The wires are generally green and yellow.

Pull this plug. It serves to activate the linear when you key the mike. Pulled out, the linear remains on standby while you transmit. With any luck the radio is putting out around 20 or more Watts peak power now.

If you see this result, the linear in the far rear has failed. Used to call that linear the "firestarter junior". The four low-frequency MOSFET transistors in the late-model linear amplifier are incredibly vulnerable to SWR damage.

Leads me to suspect that something in your antenna system, or a coax jumper has gone bad. Even a brief "spike" of high SWR will hammer that linear. Just doesn't tolerate SWR, no matter the cause.

Or it might be something else. But pulling that plug is diagnostic step number one.
