rci dx or non dx

are the newer rci dx verison better then the older none dx verison?
any pro's/con's of both?

I've had a 2950DX for over three years.........no problems

There were several improvements made in the DX version, most notably on the RX side, if I remember correctly.

The DX tunes up just as good and is more reliable IMHO. The drawback? If it does break, it is harder to work on. I chose to go new with a green face DX after three of the orange faced used 2950s radios let me down.

It is my favorite radio ever.
