Depends, if parts become obsolete, production will stop permanent.
If it is shortage of components they might start producing again if parts become availablle again.
Without knowing why parts shortages are there we can't say is it?
If key parts aren't produced anymore it will be end of production.

That chassis has been in production since 2008-9 in various versions/revisions...
Surprised it lasted this long.
Unlikely it will be back. Kenwood will likely repurpose one of their newer version business rig chassis with Amatuer Goodies, rather than restart a production line that old.
