Realistic trc 451 modulation

I've worked on one of these before. Same chassis/radio as a Uniden Grant, Cobra 142GTL, and Pres Washington. The best thing to do for it is to have the transmit coils peaked and put a decent mic on it; then it will fly for you . . .
Not really. Also ... not the same as 142, Grant, etc. 451 has circuit board pc-965. 142/ grant/ etal has board pc-396. Totally different animals.
