Realistic TRC-482 No Green TX Lights when Transmitting

I have a Realistic TRC-482 CB Radio. When I hold the mic button to talk, the red TX light goes on, but the 4 green lights do not light up. The lights used to light up. They also used to light up when I removed the antenna plug from the back of the CB Radio. I am wondering if I damaged my radio by using it inside my garage. Any one know how to fix this Radio? Is it time to throw it in the garbage? I am wondering if I can find out what part needs replacing by looking at Realistic TRC-482 210-1551 Detailed Parts List. John.

Does it still transmit and receive and the lights are just out? If it does nothing you might try a different mic or check the mic plug wires.
