Agreed, took a short nap this afternoon and fired up the Ranger afterwards,no dice on 16 or 38LSB !!!

I'm going to try something different tonight and have the mobile on LSB 16 from about 8:00P.M. eastern to 11:00P.M. eastern. Let's see if I can get the DX gods to work a few over-time hours.
I'll try calling a few times with everything turned on and see if I can at least be heard.

I called a few times at 2000 CDT and the only reply I got was an AM station ranting about LSB guys.

Well, the Puerto Rico contact gave me a chance to practice my Spanish. Hoping today lets me bone up on my English.
Just looked at the Solar Conditions for today and it shows 11 meter's as Fair for DXING, hopefully the conditions will improve as the day goes on, haven't gotten a chance to fire up the Ranger, hoping to do that later this afternoon..................

Looks like mother nature has everything on lock down today so far
I can't think of a day this year where I have heard less daytime skip than today. Occasionally, someone from DX-land will come across the receiver. However, the skip has been pretty much non-existent today on LSB 16, LSB 38 and any other channel I frequent for the purpose of talking across a few hundred/thousand miles.
