I just talked to a guy in Canada, think he said #23, he was calling WDX members. 40USB but conditions are bad here.

LSB 40 and AM 40 are both hopping. They are definitely causing some problems for me. But I'm not hearing anything on USB 40 anyways. It ain't my USB 40 day!

Talked to 3820 Smokin1 on 16 lsb. Then rolled up to 40 usb worked 22 Nova Scotia. Also good to talk with BC coyote. Lots of QSB on Sean but when he was up he was 5/7 good sounding station!

Made the connection, briefly, with 426 Lost Ram. Heard someone else calling my numbers afterward but unable to pull them out of the noise. Lots and lots of Brazilian stations on USB on 40 now. I remember last time we tried this channel I had the same problem......it's quiet in the morning but Brazil makes a lot of noise in the afternoon.

At the top of the 4:00 o'clock hour I made contact with 226, 316 and 40 (mobile) in Ohio. Not bad for a barefoot Cherokee AH-100 SSB walkie talkie and a Starduster clone. The skip is fading in and out, but there are definitely periods where it is working for us.

Also heard 647 in W. Virginia, but he couldn't hear me shouting back. Trying again in 5 minutes for the 5:00 o'clock hour.

Well I thought today's WWDX Net was pretty good,I was able to make contact with 898(Doffo) from Kansas and from what I have read,others made contacts with other forum Members also, Maybe we can have another Net like this the weekend of the New Year??? What do you think,any thoughts????????????
