refurbished magnum s9

Has anyone run into these offered for sale, I talked to a fellow near Indianapolis who said some shops in that area are selling refurbished magnums s9 for a good price, under $200, has anyone heard of this

I payed 300 with shipping for mine...
but had to shop it for free (shipping only) for a new freq and channel display...asked them to add new finals along with a couple of resistors for freq controller and got that with no problem free...
off a dude out there don't know if it was a shop or not
I seen and ad somewhere ???

anyone offering a "refurbished" Magnum is NOT offering a "FACTORY refurbished magnum" Magnum does not have this option. so buyer beware ! it will only be as good as the shop working on it. hope this helps !!

great info...and chances are..you don't want those wannabe shops working on them anyways
