Regency CR-123b - Pearce Simpson Bengal

I noticed the Regency CR-123b is almost the same as the Pearce Simpson Bengal CB Base, a few different knobs and switch placement.
From the back you can't tell them apart. Haven't compared the internals.

Who made the radios before the name went on?
