Replacing PTT switch on an RK 56

This mic has been collecting dust for at least 5 years so I got bored and decided to take a shot at replacing the switch. Since it was a spur of the moment decision and it had to be done NOW, I grabbed a beat up 636 that was given to me with a radio and used it's switch as a donor.

Somewhere along the line I must've attempted to take the cover off and disconnected most of the wires in the process. I don't recall doing this, but there is no other explanation. Using the photo below from the Copper's site, I replaced the switch but cannot figure out where the white wire goes. I have everything else in place and it seems to be in working order with one minor exception: it's not transmitting.

Anyone know where the white wire goes after passing under that cap?

Thanks.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
