I have an Amp Supply LK-500ZB. That has been restored by AL KG2DT. You can look him up on QRZ. The company was created by the Dentron guy to compete with Drake and he died shortly after so he was only able to make a few years’ worth of units. It is exactly the same design as the l4b with a lot of improvements – built-in power supply and tuned input relay driven not with a chain link like Drake. Uses 3-500Z’s and it’s a beautiful beautiful MODERN looking amp. Has two Peter W Dahi Transformers. The main Transformer was rewound by Gary Brown last year. Has two matching Machlett 3-500ZG Tubes that were bought April 18th, 2018 with paperwork. Tubes have less than 15 hours since new. Note the plate voltage is 3,250V! I was told by the owner he had asked Garry Brown to beef up the HV. So it will easily give you legal power limit. Has a new soft start and delay board. Has the 10-meter mod done. Will need a new 6 turn toroidal coil. I use the one for 15 -meters on the 10-meter mod. Has back to back protection diode set to each meter. Has QSK. Cosmetics and working condition 10 out of 10. Comes with manuals, paperwork, and schematics, And some new spare parts, Willing to trade for a Yaesu ft-1000MP Mark -3 or Yaesu ft-2000D. If interested I have more pictures.
