roger beep for a cobra 29

anyone know where i can find a 2 or 3 tone roger beep, for a cobra 29lx le? The radio shops ive contacted all have single or 5 tone. Or which base radios had the 2or3 tone rb, that may can be installed into the 29lx le.

Find a D-104 silver or night "k" eagle mic. They have a couple roger beeps built right in.

Go to Mexico and pick one up, seems every Mexican station in skip has one.

That's probably because 90% of us hate roger beeps, 5% tolerate them, and the rest use them on SSB where they belong. (not including mexico, they all love them there)

I agree, myself i find it useful at time`s when the band is up and down and the beep allows me to know when the other guy is off the key.

Roger beeps back in the day were called "Good Buddy Identifiers".
