Rotor opinions??

I have question. Of these two rotors, which one would you guys go with for the best of the two.

1) 1000 SDX
2) Ham IV - made in '81

We all know what the Ham IV looks like, so here is just the picture of 1000 SDX. Both rotors do work good.

I would go with the Ham 4. Easier to send out and get repaired if the need arises. I have used one since 1976.

Do you have both already, or are you considering which one to purchase?

I have them both already, just got the 1000 today. Going to sell one of them, so not really sure which one I want to hang onto.

How old is the Yaesu 1000?

It's about 10-12 yrs old. But it has only been used for about 2 yrs
