Hello,
I have a problem with 2 of my Royce bases, Both will not receive. I can hear static very low in the speaker, and the volume knob will not bring up the sound level. Both transmit but drop in power output as i go up from channel 1 to Ch 40.
The 1-641 has a ac hum as well, not so bad on AM but worse on SSB, What can be done to fix these problems? any help is greatly appreciated!! Would love to get these fixed.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
