Made a contact with RN6BY, Alex in Russia last nite on 18.138 USB. Was a thrill for me. Got a 5-7 report so I gues my puny little station was gettin out a little.

I talked to 302af3637 (Salva) from Sakhalin Is.,Asiatic,Russia twice. I sent him a QSL card to comfirm,but recieved nothing back.

He lives in NOVOROSSIYSK, and I sure don't know where that is. Guessing from the Scandanavian countries that have been very strong on 17 meters I would say NE Russia. Just a guess tho.

I have been enjoying HF for sure, I don't do a lot of transmitting, but a lot of listening, but when you hear a station like that I just have to key up and give it a shot.
