Several stations around the globe reported receiving slow-scan television (SSTV) images from the International Space Station on December 18. The Russian ARISS announced earlier that it would activate the Amateur Radio SSTV “experiment” from the ISS on 145.800 MHz FM (PD180 mode). Additional transmissions are planned for December 20.     Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
