Is that radio really short or did you cut way down? i just mesured mine and my general would stick out a good 6 inches or so.

I cut the bottom of the console out to fit around the radio. The heat sink is maybe 1/2" from the floor.

Must get a little warm in that box ? You know ,air flow. Looks damned good all the same.

The entire bottom is cut out. It's held in with the bracket attached to the side. When installing it,air flow was a priority. What you don't see are the holes i cut in the sides and back of the console for air flow. And when i talk,the lid is off anyway.
