Santa came early... now what do I build the frame mount out of?

Will 1" round (ID) with a 1/4" wall welded to the frame work? (which I have laying around at the garage)

or should I up it to 1.5" square, or even 2" square? (Which I will need to purchase)

I don't know how heavy that thing is but I would suggest a 'heavy duty' mounting method. That also includes the place where you plan to put it. Any screwdriver type antenna builds up quite a bit of momentum when you are moving and that momentum can be a bear to handle.
Best advice I can think of is to look at examples of other installations, see how 'they' did it. Or just think 'big' to start with, you know?

I am planning to weld right to the frame

First plating a section of the unibody rail with 1/4 inch plate steel then welding the mount I build to that

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
