On 5/16/15 Day hike with my Elecraft KX3 and set up with the Arrow ll backpack portable antenna working 2m usb on 3 watts and i set up my LNR precision end fedz Trail Friendly antenna and worked 40m, I had to use my trekking poles to get it up , no trees here on this spot witch is called cavern pt .
