Saturn Turbo question

I took a Saturn Turbo in on trade. All I knew for sure was that 1) the lights came on; 2) the speaker had static and when the radio was keyed the needle swung and you could hear it on a nearby cb. When I got it home and hooked it up and keyed the mic, the right rear of the radio got pretty warm (a little warmer then body temp) with the outside air about 45 degrees. Now it only puts out about .5 of a watt. A freq counter shows it is on freq. Did I burn the finals? Ideas? Input?

I really dont think I can comment because the post was submitted before I was even born. This must have been some really top secret hybrid radio for 1969. :)
