SCOPE QUESTIONS ?

That scope wasn't exactly 'state of the art' when it was brand new, which was close to twenty years ago. Don't expect to 'do' a lot with it.
If the 'screen' isn't lighting up, doesn't produce some sort of wiggly line with just touching the input, the cathode-ray tube is shot. Unless they are almost giving it away (literally), I don't think it's much of a good deal. Unless you're a 'Heathkit' collector.

May not be the cathode-ray tube, but you can bet something isn't right.

Hey Mr G . long time no see  Nah , was just wondering what this old clunker was all about. Good to see you around.

This Heathkit HO-10 probably can't be used directly as an o'scope. It was designed to connect to certain Heathkit transmitters, and some of their earlier transceivers, to serve as a monitor of transmitted signal quality. I don't think it would be sensitive enough or wide enough to be useful as anything but what it was designed for.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
