What can be done to make this radio perform better ? The unit is an AM only: 562-38200700. The only thing that I have done is to add a power mic.

Any one know anything about this unit?

Be very careful when tuning the VCO, it is very easy to break. I have a broken one sitting here. Not really worth the expense of finding a replacement, for me at least. Good luck and take your time.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
