sick 79-290 - no LSB? -SOLVED
Hey all, first post here =)
I've got a Midland 79-290 radio,AM and USB seem fine, great audio, gets out nice, etc etc.
LSB, however doesn't work. no tx, rx meter shows absolutely no activity.
anyone else ever see this? how did you fix it?

I finally figured it out- apparently the soldering irons at Midland were cold the day this one was made; even though the solder joints 'looked' ok on the faceplate connector, I checked them anyways and found bad solder connections, after fixing these LSB now works.
