Is it better no mount my antenna on my mirror or on the back of my cab? Doe's it depend on the truck.I drive a International 9100i daycab. I use a Wilson 2000 by the way.I have heard that the back of the cab is less likely to loose signal.Going around corners and such. Not to mention not haveing it ripped off by a treelimb or something. Thans

where you mount the antenna changes how it transmitts (a bit)

say you were putting on roof
middle of rood would give you most equal 360 degree transmitting

put towards middle rear and you would have best gain foward middle

put on front middle and your best is to rear center

put on rear left and transmitt best on front right

put on front left and tranmitt best on right rear

so essentually
oppisate of where antenna is mounted is where your best transmitt recive will be found

in most cases it is not dramatic
some times it can be though

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
