Has anyone used the sigma 5/8 I have been talking on it my whole life, does any one like it anyone have tips about it ? i would appreciate tips that i can follow.

A radio operator here uses that avanti 5/8 and man it get's out!!! wish i could find one myself

just in case you go looking for one dont get confused by the false advertising at G.I.Joes .... their sigma alpha 5/8 is just another maco copy like the workman 58 . i called the about 1 1/2 years ago asking about it and the guy said it uses a wire to tap the ring for tuning , he also said the 24 foot height spec is a miss print that its a few feet shorter .
