sirio m-400

Mine blew up quickly from the winds I have here in Iowa. Great antenna while it was up, which was about 3 weeks or so. If you have any amounts of wind, you might want to look elsewhere for an antenna. I ended up getting another SPT-500 in very nice shape from a local and put that up.

~Cheers~

that's a bummer. my NOS antenna specialists has taken 90 mph gusts with no problem.
they both have the radial supports, where did yours give out?

Mine broke right where the vertical whip screws into the base. If you're looking at the .PDF file that Marconi provided, it would be Fig. 1, #43.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
