so you are going to change out the mount that you currently have? if you are going with the sirio mount it comes with 12' of rg58c/u. it is ok for general use, if you will be using a little power the before mentioned LMR 240 ultraflex is the better choice. just a better coax.

when i installed the one i have a few days ago i changed it out to 15' 3" and it works very well. i suggested this length as the resonant frequency of this antenna is 27.025....

492/27.025=18.205X0.84= 15.295....or 15' 3"
