bought this antenna about 3 months ago. Hooked to my Stryker497 everything worked awesome was able to get a lot more range then my K40. Initial SWR out of the box was 1.1 on both 1 and 40. Winter hit with a couple ice storms. Now it won’t transmit radi has code for high SWR and has shut down to protect radio. Tried my Tuned cobra 25 and it’s right around 4. Anything to check for? Pulled all apart and tryied warming it up thinking condensation. No change

Water intrusion in the coax and or the loading coil.

I'm very happy with my 5000 too.
My 5000 has performed well in all weather conditions. Very happy with it.
I will be putting mine back on soon also.
