Happy New Year/The Net was a Blast!

textI hope you listened or checked in. We had over 70+ check-in's.
We remembered many, many SK operators from all over US/Canada...when all the net controls get totals combined I am going to say well over 100 SK operators were respected. I had worked and recall many from being on the air.
Most notable: KB2GSD Walter Cronkite
The old rig check-in's were really cool!
Mich. Net Control/Don W8NS: Collins KWM-2A/w Drake L4B amp
Fla Net Control/Jeff WA4WAM:Home brew FLEX/w Home-brew amp and 3 element 80m wire beam/And I think a wire log periodic...Not sure but he was Damn LOUD here in IND.
Other notable stations was a Central Electronics 100V transmitter/Collins 75S3 receiver and he was driving a Johnson Thunderbolt! (You talk about sweet audio/WOW!)
Lots of Yaesu FT101's/an FT107...Several KWD TS520's/530's and a TS820....
We even had an op check-in from OH running an old MFJ mono-band(5W) QRP rig...He was S9!!!
