Heard T-Bone out of Houston near Savannah, GA this evening on AM-19.

Have heard that mobile tech from Maine to Montana and all points south in years past.

    Means Spring has officially commenced.

Also heard a guy out of NE Texas.

I was ready to quit for all the QRM from 27025...then heard an unfamiliar prefix. Finally worked 201 Div (French Polynesia), from my pickup.

    Happy camper today.

    The magic ingredient:

    West Mountain Radio ClearSpeaker

    549287F8-3489-4D33-B950-2458C365AAFF.jpeg

Don’t pump fast-flow diesel without it!

(and 4-ea snap ferrites for each end of the 2-ea cables. PALOMAR ENGINEERS FSB31-1/2” gets a few wraps easily. $5.50/ea).

Been dead here for days. Haven't had a chance to check the radio today.
By what I've read, I missed an opening to the east coast.

Mines hanging out of the overhead console. Pieces of the latter everywhere in the Pete. Trying to get to backside of antenna mounts.
