Just wondering what would be the smallest tube amp would be watt wise? Is it the 4CX-250B? Possibly looking into a small tube amp for the base. I had a 4CX-250B box awhile ago. Just seeing if there is something smaller out there.
Should have stated this was for 11 meters with SSB capability.

****Please move to CB amp section!!!!

I've seen many single tube home brew amps. one 6LQ6 I believe, doing 40-50 watts. SSB is the addition of a delay circuit.

Manufactured smallest amp? I dunno

Yeah,
I'm just looking to get out of the mud if need be. 100-150W should do the trick. Don't want to disturb the neighbors, you know.
The KLV looks like a nice little amp. 220V though. I would need to run a dedicated circuit.

Does the KLV-200 vip need to be modified for 11 meter use. This would be the perfect amp for my shack. I could also use it on HF.
Also, availability. Know locations of US sales?
Thanks!

I know this is an old post, but i have a Kris Boomer two tuber, 60 watts or so low drive 11m amp with good tubes. Got it from 15minigrass. Works great. That is about the smallest I have seen.

Heathkit SB 200 with just cb radio drive with a 2 watt dk 20 watts or so pep. 50 watt dk 200 watts pep out amp

I still have a "Jewel Box" that uses a 6BQ5 and Puts out about 8 to 10 watts carrier and 40 watts peak (AM.) Not so hot for sideband. :-) They did make a version using an 8417, similar to a 6L6 that would put out around 50 watts.
