does anyone know what kind of radio was used in the trans-am and in snowmans' kenworth in the movie. i can tell from watching the movie that they are using pace scanners, but couldn't get a good look at the radios. thanx.

Joyride was AWESOME ! Rusty Nail was not the guy to screw with !

I had a Pace 23 channel radio back about that same time, but mine was a smaller one than what Bert was using. Those were some good radios, I wish I knew what I did with that one I had...Knowing how bad CB radios were getting stolen back then, that's probably what happened to it thou...Bet I didn't have the same radio for more than 6 months at a time, before someone was always swipping them out of the car.

Seems to be dead on the radio lately. I don't know if the conditions are horrible, or more likely my weak antennas. I may head up in the mountains on Wednesday and see if reception / transmission is improved.
