Best I remember from those days...
Most Avanti/Antennas Specialists Verticals of the late 60's era were rated around 250 watts AM and around 350 PEP SSB...
Seen many go down(smoke) with guys trying to run big Phantoms or Varmint's thru them using AM.
The exceptions of the days were the original SIGMA 5/8ths...The Penetrators and the Mosley verticals.
The CLR II...Super Mag series...just would not hold up over time to that kind of smoke IMHO
All the Best

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
