So how is your county tax dollars being spent in Riverside County?
This is what was at SupperCross on Saturday Feb 1st 2014 in the pit area.
Well just take a look:
For those of you not informed on current costs of motorcycles and accessories, here is a rundown of the cost of EACH BIKE.
KTM 500 EXC $12099.00
Custom Graphics: $400.00
Steering Stabilizer with brackets: $900.00
All new plastic (white) $700.00
RaceTech suspension $2500.00
Dunlop 606 tires $300.00
Skid plate $150.00
bark busters $150.00
custom leather seat with emblem $500.00
Sirens , lights, cop stuff $????

I think it’s safe to say each bike will cost YOU the tax payer probably $25K if not more.
Oh wait…. The Sherriff’s department also had a 30ft enclosed trailer and tow vehicle probably worth another 75K for the trailer and 75K for tow vehicle.
So let’s now total up JUST THE HARDWARE…..
Truck and trailer 150K
Bikes (7 x 25K) 175K

325K
There are also 8 employee’s in the picture. 2 more were standing behind me.
That 10 at an average salary of 70K.
And remember this was on a Saturday so figure time and ½.

Shouldn’t these guys be chasing REAL criminals and not dirt bikers?

Get up off your dead ass and demand an explanation from your sheriff department.
