Yet I still work the World every day? I guess that some bands are better than others even in bad times? Japan is coming in well at the moment on 17 Meters & Slovenia on 20 as well.
Hopefully it will start picking back up in the late fall and the winter season like it has in the past!!!
I love to talk on 160M, Normally hang out either side of 1.900 LSB in the evening CST. Might even be on there tonight at about 6PM CST. Got a 572' multi band loop so the noise in not as bad as it it on my doublet.Sunspot conditions say "Put away the 11 and break out the 1750M gear..." but the noise levels are nucking futs, even for this time of year
Another local ham 17.6 miles away and I use 160M all year round and other locals withing a couple hundred miles join in sometimes as well but thats more toward the winter season. 80M in this area is really popular and crowded so the 160M band gives us plenty of room.
