I wonder how screwed up the input tuning was where he felt the need to put a trimmer cap there.
I see he oversized the + feed wired from the power strip to the output transformers and wrapped the #8 power wire around a huge ferrite.
He also created a remote so he could activate the preamp which is a decent idea but preamps in mobiles are worthless unless the channel is completely noise free.
I wonder what his problem with the keying circuit is, I never had one go bad or key improperly.
My opinion is IF IT AINT BROKE DON'T F@CK WITH IT. These have chokes to keep RF from the bias cicuit stock, so I don't see the need to overdo that.
Nothing like screwing around with a brand new $400 4 pill.
