Have been fighting ignition noise on my new qt-80; and recently installed a powerwerx filter, fit like a glove, and does cut out some noise, kinda. Also found a post moleculo put out 2008, and am in process of building one. His post required a 4700uf 35v capacitor that I am waiting on....so I looked over the powerwerx unit, and it doesn't have one. So my question is, should it? And if I was to install one, would it filter better?? Or am I missing something somewhere.....
