Sommerkamp 2000DX ( Memory Battery )

I have a Sommerkamp 2000DX radio and it is a great radio. The past few week when I turn the radio on, the frequency display reads all different numbers and I can't change frequency. I freind of mine told me to change the memory battery or just remove it but I can't locate it. Can anyone tell me where it is located so I can check it. Thanks Joe

The memory battery is mounted on the inner most board of the display panel.
it is usually a silver coin cell with mounting tabs. and it has a yellow edge covering.
It is about the size of a quarter.

3v lithium.
