I was in my mother in law's basement the other day and I happened upon a Sonar BR 2911 amp....condition..unknown,but she did say that she used it on her CB from years back....

I am wondering what the specs are on this amp

If I can talk her into allowing me to bring it to the house so I can clean it up and have a good hard look inside I will be able to get some more info on it maybe..

Anyone heard of this amp by chance? Any idea as to the output......all that good stuff

keep in mind this thing has been sitting in a basement for some time and does look rather......dirty :(

I have no idea how long it has been there,with all the dust I would have to say it has been there for several years

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
