Double nuvvista front end. In my opinion it's one of the best reciving a.m. radios you will ever hear. Twin 6bq5's in a push pull configuration gives the radio a.m. audio that's hard to beat. The anl does what an anl should do. Thay are simple looking but don't be fooled by its look. When your on the reciving end of this radio you will know its audio is something special. Thay last for ever and if you do eventually run into a problem it will be an easy fix. I know many will disagree with me but tell me of a better 40 channel a.m. only tube radio better and ill buy one emidetly. (If I don't already own your choice) Point to point hand wired in bk ny USA except for from what I recently found out about the last 150 built in Fla. Can't speak for the last ones made in Hollywood Fla. The ones made in bk were as the youngsters say, the shit ! One Moe thing. You can use the shitest amp ever made and as long as you don't over drive it no on will ever know your using one. The audio will stay as clean as stock. Bypass the audio limiter and use an amplified d 104. Even if you don't bypass the board use an amplified d104. Just turn it up till you distort. Then start backing it down until sounds good.

My curiousity has got me. I should have asked you in my first reply. What's the guy asking for it? And in you opinion what's the cosmetic condition 1-10? Looks on the outside aren't as important as the way it looks on the inside. Unless you like collector quality looks. Has it been moded in anyway? If the guy's honest he will give you a heads up. If you do purchase it and want a copy of the owners manual, just let me know. I can send it to you. No fee. Good luck.
