Just got this mic and I love it!! Only problem is there is s little to much low for my voice. Is there a way to put a cap in line to get rid just a tiny bit?
 

I don't know yet what values to change. Didn't Ranger already address that bassiness issue by doing the very same thing? Reason why is because I'm looking into buying one for my CRE-8900. Since I think that the 8900 isn't being sold anymore in the states,I've thought about buying a replacement mic at The Mobile Radio Store but the SRA-198 sounds like a pretty sweet deal.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
