I've used the smaller beam and their verticle and both are nice. The nicest thing about the beam is that you can switch to 180 degree direction with just a flip of a switch and tune in that station "behind" you in a nano second instead of having to wait for the rotator to swing around. You just have to remember to retract the elements when done or you end up with a broken antenna.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=";)">

Good grief! Has anyone seen the ad in the July QST for this antenna? 70 foot elements??? That thing won't fit in my lot! It would be interesting to have the money and the space and the heavy duty tower for this thing. but, jeesh!

Extreme ham radio: One of those new, fancy Icom rigs or one of those new Yaesu rigs, hardline all the way, 200 foot heavy-duty towers, an amp...and that antenna......
