Still More 40M RadioFun

Had a couple Great Contacts this morning while trying to pour down the coffee:

VK3CKL...KEVIN/Dandenong Victoria,AUSTRALIA...We carried on for over
25 minutes from 10:08Z- 10:32Z
Kevin was 59 and up to 10-15 over S9 through the whole chat. He was running an older JRC rig and a wire beam at 400W....MONSTER SIG!/Great Audio
I was using my "Backfire" Phased dipole array and about 400W...my report from him was 58 to 59 with nice audio reports for my FT-950.

Also had WA6GPW/Nick/Dallas,TX working with us...He was running a Hustler Vertical with only 4 radials and made the trip to Kevin.

Then this chap called:
VK7FMTX...STEVEN/TASMANIA,ISLAND at 10:35Z...he was also very nice copy with 57-58 signal....He gave me a report of 59 on my rig...

Been along time since I worked a station from Tasmania...Great fun on good old 40m...band was pretty cool...Nick(Dallas,TX) reported he had been up most of the night working Europe on his vertical...
Well off to 75m and get another cup of Java

Those are some great contacts !! I am just catching europe here in Missouri,and 40 meters is just regional for me...Have yet to hear down under here :bored:

17 and 20 are rolling for europe though just after daylight till about noon
