Where did you get the processor PCB? Could it have been for sale for the same reason?

I got it from someone on another CB radio forum on facebook for $60. I have EEPROM LC46 8 Pin IC on order. Going to remove the one on my board and put a new IC on there and hopefully that fixes this memory problem. A tech friend of mine told me LC46 is more that likely corrupted or failing. The pcb on top is my original one and the one on the bottom is the used one I purchased.

Got U606 LC46 EEPROM removed today. Just waiting on the new part to arrive in the mail and I'll get it soldered on there. Sure hope this fixes the memory loss problem.
