I'm having trouble finding out what the capacitor values are on this old amp. I was told that it might be an Elkin, but in talking with Ray today, he made NO 807 powered amps. So back to square 1. This old guy has ceramic disc caps that are made with the CRL insignia, but no values labled on them. Most of the other caps in the amp are marked with values, but there is 1 going to ground near the rectifier (diodes and large caps) and 1 on the deck going from 1 end of the tank coil to the B+ line.
If someone would care to look at this. I can take some close up photos of the caps and cap locations so you can see what I mean.
I would appreciate any help with my baby!!
Thanks in advance
Joe

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
