That strong geomagnetic storm over the weekend may have trashed the HF bands, but stations along North America’s Eastern Seaboard took advantage of the resulting aurora to score some DX on 6 meters. On Saturday, June 29, stations were able to work into Alaska during a period of auroral propagation. Heard Belize (V31) on CW but could not break the pile-up:sad:

Heard several others pointed into Euro Land around 16:00z just nothing I could work!

PS: 2 meters FM was open also...was hearing simplex stations 2-300 miles away on my Diamond Antenna 3 x (5/8's wave stacked) at 18ft...it's going up to 50ft as soon as the 5 element LFA (17ft+boom) for 6m is ready!

:headbang Still waiting to get some decent weather that coincides with my days off to get the antennas up. This year has been a real bitch, cold and wet or windy as hell if it is dry. :cursing:

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
