Trying to find a detailed list of all capacitors inside Stryker 497HPC (newer version) and Stryker 955HPC+. Does Stryker radio give that information out to repair shops and general public or are we stuck having to make our own detailed list?

Curious why you would need to swap out a capacitor in an almost new radio? Cap replacement is usually something that happens after 30 or 40 years when the old ones start to dry out......... If you are having issues with a 955HPC+ it is VERY unlikely to be a capacitor issue.

In answer to your question: Never seen a schematic or a parts list for either radio and I'm fairly certain they don't exist in the wild.

I notice some shops replace the larger caps in the radios with different brand. Some say Chemi-Con capacitors aren't that good.

I kinda like this AI stuff.

Yes, genuine United Chemi-Con capacitors are generally considered very good, high-quality components, especially top-tier series, ranking with brands like Rubycon and Nichicon; however, their reputation is mixed due to specific notorious series (like KZG) known to fail under heat, and counterfeits exist, so buying from reputable distributors (Digi-Key, Mouser) is key.

Not something I would worry about. The chances of some other component failing first are pretty good............
Don't overvolt or overheat the radio, watch your SWR, be careful if you're driving an amp with it, and that radio should last a long long time.
