It was only a matter of time before they shortened it up. It does 100w out of the box too. Very tempting to get one to put in an ammo can.

Well dude I just saw this post..... I posted about the same subject just a while ago without realizing I had made a duplicate.
Just when you get everything all wired and set-up in the vehicle. Probably work good with a 4 or even an 8 Pill. Think I'll wait and see if they have any bugs.
Just got one from Scotts, running it through it's paces now. I plan to put it in a fat 50 ammo can, and I can already tell that the heat sink is going to be too big for what I want to do.

I wish they would make it even shorter. Drop the heat sink and put a single bipolar final or a single RF fet in it. Make it an inch or two narrower. Give it a red display. Make it full HF+6. Give it eSSB. make the audio and TX/RX bandwidth selectable in the menu. For the price they want for one you should be able to get close to that.
