Stuff....

Go for it.

The VHF and UHF antennas are easy, due to smaller components.

I made a 2M Yagi from some AU angle and some AU tubing.

Used a dipole for the driven element, insulated it from the boom with some plexi-glass. Used self tappers and the little clips that hold screens in storm doors to hold the parasitics.

An omni is even easier.

I use a jpole now but I think I'll make a GP using one of these 2M/440 Dual Band Antenna, 3/8 x 24 110028 - eBay (item 150295780037 end time Feb-14-09 10:00:41 PST)
I have one on a big truck and it works fine.

As soon as I find a solenoid to gently spin a yagi 90 degrees, I'll make a dual band.
Some pictures would be great too, 74IN

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
